Hi,

Today is the local news. Today April 18th 2009, I am going to Build A Bear Workshop with my friend Erin who was also in another blog. I have been to Build A Bear before, two times already. This is my third time. What I got last time was kind of like a pink cheetah. She didn't run fast though. The first time, I got a plain white cat with clothes. This time, I am going to pick whatever one I want. I might tell you about it in another blog.

Tonight we are going to see Monsters v. Aliens in 3D. It's going to be awesome!

Last weekend we went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. My Dad, my Mom, my brother, my Aunt Kathy, and I went together. My favorite thing was the tour ride because I got to see how much we're taking up space of animals' territory. Here's two weird parts. First there was a a lion king napping on a fake car which looked real. Second I saw tons of animals that kind of look the same. The most scary part was me going into a bird cage with a cup of nectar, and a lot of birds came to me, and one landed on my head! I screamed and got out and never went in there again. But my brother liked it. Also, there was a big hot air balloon but we didn't ride it so it wasn't that exciting.

I love Grandma

Hi,
My Grandma Leutjen died on March 24, 2009 and I loved her so much. But everyday I will get to see her because I will find her in my heart. My Grandma had a dog named Bingo and a cat named Montana. She had a very big house. She had stairs to go upstairs. Her bedroom was upstairs.

My Grandma died because her lungs stopped working and she had to have chemo. The chemo made her better for awhile, and we got to have a good Christmas with her. My Grandma had two favorite places to take us to eat: (1) Red Robin and (2) Rocky Cola. Her favorite places to go are her house and my house.

When we went to Red Robin, we would always bring a game like Scrabble. When we went to Rocky Cola, I would always get bubble gum and I would always have to get the money from my Grandma. When we went to her house, I would always bring something to do with my Grandma like stuffed animals or a board game. When she came to our house, she liked to sit out on the deck and smoke but a couple years later, she didn't smoke anymore.

I am glad I knew her for a very long time.

My Favorite Foods and Drinks

Hi, again.
I want you to know what my favorite foods are. First of all, I love fruits. I love strawberries, I love blueberries, I love raspberries, I love apples, I love bananas, I love peaches, I love cantaloupe and watermelon, and I love oranges. My favorite snacks are pretzels, crackers, granola bars, yogurt sticks, yogurt, popcorn, popcorn flavored rice cakes, Doritos, Lay's potato chips, Barb-B-Q baked Lay's chips, and Goldfish. My favorite breakfast is pancakes, waffles, bagel with cream cheese, or toast with butter. My favorite lunches are Subway turkey sandwich, Lunchables, and chicken nuggets. My favorite dinners are macaroni and cheese, chicken noodle soup, cheese quesadilla, cheese pizza, fish sticks, and pasta with red sauce. My favorite drinks are lemonade, chocolate milk, strawberry kiwi juice, strawberry yogurt drink, strawberry-banana smoothies, water, orange juice, and Sprite. My favorite desserts are chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, mint chocolate chip ice cream, cookies & cream ice cream, fudge, donuts, cupcakes, chocolate cake, vanilla cake with strawberries, and brownies. My favorite candies are lollipops, Crunch bars, bubble gum, Snicker bars, and jelly beans.

My birthday plans

Hi, everybody,

On March 5 is my birthday which is coming very soon. On March 5th, I am bringing cupcakes to my class. We will have my family birthday dinner that night at Mijare's, a Mexican food place. The next night, we are having First Friday Club. First Friday Club is a bunch of our friends who come to our house to and play every month. We have been having First Friday Club since I was two-and-a-half. Everyone will sing happy birthday to me at First Friday Club, and I will feel very happy.

The next day, we are going to Legoland and stay at a hotel with a swimming pool that night. On Sunday, we are going to the Wild Animal Park to see some wild animals and then we will go home. On the way home we will get a treat or a snack. I am looking forward to go to Legoland because we will get to stay in the hotel with the swimming pool. My favorite ride at Legoland is the dragon ride because it is really fast and very fun.

Sam and Me

Hi,

This is about a cat that died. His name was Sam. Sam was a very nice black cat. He was my very best cat because I loved him very much and he had soft fur. He let me carry him around. He liked me because I pet him a lot. Sam used to play with invisible bugs in the leaves blowing in our yard. How he died was he got very sick. I miss him very much. I wish he was alive still. We also made a little glass box for him which has a picture of him on top of it. Inside, there are little name tags of our family members so he can remember us. Also there are feathers and marbles in there so he can play with them.

Family Pets

I have a cat named Lovey who is fat and has two thumbs. He can give you a thumbs up! Can't you see how fat he is in this picture? My Grandma has two cats and a dog. One cat which is a kitten is named Madison. She climbed up my Grandma's Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. My Grandma has to be the protector because I don't want to get hurt by the little mischievous kitten. She has sharp claws! The other cat is named Montana, and she is very quiet. We do not know if she's deaf or not. Montana is a very nice cat. If you sit down for a long time, she will think that you're getting bored so she will come up to you and snuggle on your lap. The dog's name is Bingo. When the heater goes on, he likes to get as close to it as he can. He is a little dog and he is a chihuahua mix, but we don't know what he is mixed with. He also likes to eat cat food. But still he eats dog food. When he goes outside to pee, he likes to hit every tree on the block.

I Saw Snow

We went up onto the mountains but not too high and we got to feel some snow which is nice, soft, but not very fluffy. We did a couple of snowball fights and after that we picked up a couple of things like bottles and took them to the trash can. We also made a mini snowman. It was very cold there but not freezing. When it was time to go, we went to a different place with snow. We started climbing up this mountain to look for snow but we didn't find much. Then we hiked down. The most fun part was throwing snowballs and making the mini snowman that had no hat.
